Dragons’ savior by Milly Taiden

Published by Latin Goddess Press, Inc.
Release on : February 2019
Book 2 of the Nightflame Dragon series

Back Cover

When the courts end Dr. Vanessa Bryant’s career, she’s contacted by a secret government facility to work as a doctor—on another planet. Having no other option, she agrees. On planet Daeria, she finds her two escorts are sexier than sin. She’s going to have problems keeping her hands off them and staying professional.

Madden and Kian, dragon-shifters from Daeria, have been closer than brothers all their lives. Sharing one surrogate is more than ideal to them. They are overjoyed with the idea of becoming parents to help repopulate their planet. The problem is their female isn’t part of the program.

Vanessa is there as a healer, not their surrogate. Plus, not everyone’s happy about her presence. In fact, they’d kill to have her gone. When Vanessa disappears, Madden and Kian learn they need to save more than her life alone. It’s a race against time to convince her they’re her perfect mates and creating a family isn’t impossible.

My Review

Since I bought three books of the Nightflame series, I decided to read them back to back. I can’t say if I enjoyed this one more or less than book 1. I am happy to renew with some of the characters f, but this time I connected more with the dragons than Vanessa. I feel that her medical skills could be more developed.

I liked she did not let the fact she lost her job as a doctor to stop moving on with her life. At first, she wasn’t supposed to be a surrogate like the other ladies on the ship, but Madden and Kian had other plans for her. Their relationship with her are different and they both bring something in Vanessa’s life. It just what she needed after what she been through.

The intrigued at the end is well-written. I just wish the fight was a little longer. It was not bloody as I imagined before reading it and I liked the description. You will have read the book to find out who is their opponent. It wasn’t something like I saw in Jurassic Park, but I could easily imagine every moves the dragon was making.

This book overlaps with book one. I will recommend to read Gianna’story before this one. You will be able to understand more the story. I feel invested in the series now. I need to know what happens.
